What Is A Planned Gift?
A basic definition of a planned gift is a gift other than cash. The oldest example of a planned gift is a provision for a charitable organization in a will. This kind of provision, called a bequest, remains the most common type of planned gift. Today, there are numerous other planned giving vehicles and we encourage you to explore each of them on this website. See the "Quick Link to a Gift", on the left, for a listing of vehicles available at Children’s Mercy.
Is Planned Giving Just For The Wealthy?
Absolutely not. Planned giving is for anyone interested in making a significant charitable contribution that will extend their influence well into the future.
